This explains what personal information Criminal Dynasty ("we," "us") collects through criminaldynasty.com, why, and your choices. Criminal Dynasty is an in-development video game; this site is a pre-launch information and signup page.

What we collect

• Your email address — only if you submit it through the "notify me" form.
• Basic technical data — like any website, our host (Cloudflare) automatically processes limited technical information (such as your IP address and request logs) to serve the site securely.
• Aggregate usage counts — we keep simple tallies of page visits and which links get clicked (for example the Discord or social buttons), together with a coarse country derived from your request. These counts are aggregate, set no cookies, and are not tied to your identity.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we don't build advertising or behavioral profiles about you, and the site loads no third-party fonts, analytics services, or scripts. The usage counts above are simple, aggregate, and cookie-free.

Why we collect it

• Email: solely to send you news about Criminal Dynasty — playtest invitations and launch updates.
• Technical data: to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
• Usage counts: to understand which pages and links are useful and roughly where visitors come from, so we can improve the site.

Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

How it's stored & who sees it

• Your email is stored in our database hosted by Cloudflare, acting on our behalf.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their marketing.
• We keep it only until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices & rights

At any time you can unsubscribe, or ask us to show, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, by emailing drew@criminaldynasty.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site and game are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the project grows. We'll change the "Effective" date above when we do.
